  Won't ever be spending money here again, and not because of the food. While perhaps it could have been, but we only got half our order. And despite letting them know of a serious allergy, it was included in our pizza nonetheless.i called, not to complain but to see about a remake and I'd even drive these one to them. Nope. I'm told it was late and I'd recieve a "credit". Long story short, I was hung up on, told their credit book got lost and I probably wouldn't get it, told to call the owners at home and talk to them, told that they'd replace a portion of the order. Not another penny. As a Chef i would never treat my customers this way. Not another penny of mine, recommendation as a chef (and i work in A hotel )will ever go to this business. Mr. J's is as good if not better. The pizza might be ok, but the customer service is horrid.

  Reading the reviews and can't believe all the great reviews. Yes lots of topping but I very low end taste at a high end price. Delivery driver was very friendly that's the only reason for the second star. This was a place recommend by a local, was excited for a good pizza... Just disappointed.

  I used to love islander, but the last few times I got it I havent been impressed; one time the dough wasnt cooked all the way through and we had to put it in the oven before we could even eat it. Another time is was soooo soggy, and once again we had to put it in the oven before it was edible, etc. Tonight we wanted to give them another chance and called to order a pizza at 9.40ish (they close at 10.30), they said they just turned their oven off and cant do any more orders. I get places close early if they're not busy, but that seems pretty early to close? Not too impressed with them lately.

  Ever since we moved to Courtenay. People said we had to eat Islander Pizza. A little reluctant to eat their consumer prices are so much higher than other pizza places. But I was feeling Rich one day and treated the family. The pizza was adequate but far from great and nothing special at all. I'd say save your money an order from Domino's. Although I did have the lasagna there one time in the two lasagnas deal is pretty good.

  I enjoy islander pizza, the menu and prices are good, staff is friendly during pick up.
