  Came here tonight for our tenth anniversary dinner (we also stayed at the Old House Hotel). The food was beautiful to look at and delicious. Everything was quickly served from the kitchen to table- no sitting under a heat lamp here! Our server was helpful with the menu choices. For a "fancy" restaurant, the portion sizes were generous. Lots of local ingredients! Would definitely recommend for a special evening. The building and grounds are beautiful - take time to look around!

  1 out of 6 entrées was really good, 1 was completely inedible (snapper special was fish jerky) and the rest was passable but by no means worthy of the price tag.
  4 deserts were ordered and 2 were good, one was ok but disappointing and the apple crumble was incomplete: chunky apple sauce with no crumble. The staff was very friendly but slow, with nobody really taking charge. Ran out of decent beer after 3 were served to the table and were never brought one that was ordered. Told the waitress at the end of the night and witnessed other tables complaining. Overall pretty amateur for a supposed high-end restaurant and a well established name in the valley. The're dealing with the aftermath of a recent fire but either your open or your not as the high-end prices remained unchanged.

  Great ambiance. They have a wonderful patio here although it was too cold to use when we were here. Portions are down to normal eating sized instead of the super-sized they used to have. The service was good although I couldn't stir my tea without a spoon or utensils. Apart from that, it was quiet so we had relatively good service. I wonder what it is like when it's busy? The food was good. The beef dip was wonderful on french bread and my clubhouse was super. Real chicken not rolled meat. Approx. $15 a sandwich with a side.

  I would never recommend this restaurant. Food was subpar, service was horrible. They say you get what you pay for, in this case not so much.

  The food was flavourful and the staff friendly and accommodating! The best thing was the view of the river just outside the back door! Gorgeous!
