  Couldn't be any better. The best selection of gluten and dairy free, vegan, Paleo... You name it. You can special order whatever you need. Their wedding cakes are inspired too. Thanks Heidi and Alex!

  I wish I could write a 5 star review for every time I've visited this shop, but google will only let me write one so here it is.
  Thank you Sweet Surprise for creating this DELICIOUS Gluten-Free, Chocolate Almond Paleo Cake (as a last minute request) for my husbands Birthday. And thank you for BOTH of your cookbooks! I use them as bed-time reading and go to sleep with thoughts of all the delicious/gluten-free/healthy treats I'm going to make the following day.

  Doughnut holes were incredible! Texture was great, good flavour. Buns were pretty good too, tasty but more biscuit like. I would highly recommend this place and will try it again!

  Such a fantastic litte cafe!!! I live in Victoria, but I always make sure to stop by when visitng family in Courtenay because I have never had better gluten-free baked goods! It's literally impossible to find GF donuts- but they have them here Saturday mornings and they are amazing!!! I love that they have lots of vegan and dairy free options as well.
